UFO Round Robin Update

Welcome to all of my new followers!  I’ve been skimming and adding folks as I’ve been able to.  I’m looking forward to this weekend when I’ll have some free time to myself to read and comment.  🙂

This past week was a furious attempt to get my hours in on Tali’s piece. She sent Mirabilia’s Sleeping Beauty around, and I’ll admit – I fell in love with the piece simply from the color scheme. Purple and green together? YES PLEASE!

Here’s how I received it (ignore those four purple stitches and my needle… on the left):

And here’s how I mailed it off:

I didn’t get anywhere near as much done as I’d hoped to do, but still… progress is progress. 🙂  I did probably about 12-14 hours of work to get this done.

Next up is more Mirabilia work – I need to wrap up my Mirabilia RR round for Andie‘s piece by next Monday.  🙂

I’m still taking names for my Summer Fun Giveaway – hop on over to this entry if you’d like to enter your name!

Looks good Measi.  Love the color scheme as well.  Purple and green are my fave colors together!!  Can’t wait to see the rest of your Miribilia work!

Hi Measi – I thought I was the only one who liked purple and green 🙂 I found your blog via your giveaway and I’m enjoying reading it (and crossing my fingers!). Have a good day – Hannah, citystitching.blogspot.com

Oooo, I agree! Purple and green are awesome! (My very favorites!!)   You made good progress, I can’t wait to get my hands on it, lol.  This is one I don’t have and was never interested in, but I have seen a few progress pictures from various people and may end up changing my mind!!

The colours are gorgeous, I was wearing a top with purple and green in it today.  You managed a nice bit of stitching on the RR

She really is beautiful, with the colors on that background.  It must be such fun to do the RR’s
