Thanks to the amazingly talented Rahenna, we have linky buttons! (If you’re not familiar with the piece featured in the buttons, it’s Dragon Rampart from Teresa Wentzler).  You’re not required to have one of these on your blog, but please feel free to grab one of them for either your sidebar or your check-in posts!

Edit:  It seems like people are having difficulty with the code so far.   :( I need to head to bed, but will fix in the morning if the new links below don’t work.

Edit #2:  I’ve just tested it in my old blogger account, and it’s now working.  It appears that the issue is the quotation marks – go back once you paste and delete each one (there’s a total of four) and manually retype, and it should work.

To use the button to the left (88 wide x 31 high), copy and paste the following code:

Still not working, sorry. :(  Just wanted to say though that the buttons look great!  Jennie from http://craftyhaven.blogspot.com/

I’ve been trying to place it in an HTML/JAVAScript gadget on Blogger but nothing happens. I’ll wait to see if it’s the code or if I’m doing something wrong!

  • Ziggyeor

I did it by right clicking on the image and saving the picture to my files and then using the blogger picture gadget.  I was able to link the site for WIPocalypse as well.

I added the button and it works =)
I just took the link to the picture (http://www.measi.net/images/wip_button3.png) since wordpress seems to want it that way. Also added a link the WIPocalypse-site =)

I’ve just added it to my site and it works fine – I did as Measi suggested and deleted and then manually readded all the ” marks and it’s fine :-)

I right clicked the button and saved image as, to my computer. In my blog I added the widget picture. Title WIPocalypse 2012  link: Measi’s blog, then the picture I saved onto my computer and that worked.

I really like the icon and its up on my blog. I am working away on my WIPocalypse list.

  • Lynn ( Kearnel)

I followed Shelleen’s tactic and used the icon to link directly to your blog. That way I can link over to your blog quickly as soon as I’ve put up my WIPocalypse posts. It works well.

  • Shebafudge

    Thanks!  Worked perfectly for me.

  • Alesia Matson

I used the link thingy to list my entry. :) Now I need to find out how to view everyone else’s entries so I can cheer along!

I’ve fixed it.  :)  It didn’t work as a category, but did work via linking to posts tagged with WIPocalypse.

I also have updated my blog with my 1ste WIPocalypse message.
