Hi everyone!
Labor Day is fast approaching here, and with it comes my favorite season of the year. I’m not particularly fond of the summer heat and humidity, but those crisp autumn mornings… I could live with those happily ALL YEAR LONG. We’re even starting to get just a touch of autumn here in New England. A few trees have decided they’re ready for a nap, and I’ve been seeing a few glimpses of bright oranges and reds at the very tips of a few trees.
In about a half-hour, I’ll be heading south for the holiday weekend to visit family. My father has flown to Pennsylvania from my hometown in Montana to visit my grandmother, and my mom moved back to Pennsylvania several years ago – so I’ll be doing the huge both-sides-of-the-family-in-one-weekend whirlwind trip. So if you have any questions for me, I likely won’t be able to reply until I’m back home late Sunday/daytime Monday. There’s big news afoot that I’ll be posting on Monday.

I hope everyone had a good August for crafting! I was so busy I forgot to post my WIPocalypse update for the beginning of August – so my blog will be busy at the end of the weekend!

Please remember that this stitch-a-long is intended to be fun – so if you’re too busy to post, too busy/ill/etc. to stitch - no worries. Post when you can and share what you have going, even if you’ve only been able to toss a single stitch into it. It’s not a race or a competition – we’re all just here to cheer each other on with our progress. :)
