Can you believe after this check-in, there are only two check-ins left? This year is flying!

I know I’m a little late getting this up today, and I apologize for that. I was away this weekend for the last hurrah of stitching retreats before the baby arrives, and between post-retreat exhaustion and the need to get preparations around the house made for Hurricane Sandy, yesterday wound up being a bit of a blur. I’m fortunate in that the storm looks like it will mostly be a wind event in my area. We’re getting some rain and some steady winds so far – it’ll escalate later today into tonight. But we’re not getting anything like the folks in the Mid-Atlantic are getting. Please keep those folks in your thoughts – it’s definitely going to be a rough few days along the eastern U.S.

WIPocalypse 2013 info – Yes, it will be running! I’ll be discussing it in detail with next month’s post, and signups will begin then.

Auto-Linky Help - Internet Explorer is definitely causing problems with the auto-link, and unfortunately it’s something I cannot control. Please use the comment form or email me if you cannot get your check-in to show up after a screen refresh..

Cut off Date for this Full Moon - is November 27th.  Please link your post anytime between now and then for it to count toward the drawing.

Please remember that this stitch-a-long is intended to be fun – so if you’re too busy to post, too busy/ill/etc. to stitch - no worries.  Post when you can and share what you have going, even if you’ve only been able to toss a single stitch into it.  It’s not a race or a competition – we’re all just here to cheer each other on with our progress.  :)

I know some stitchers were having some difficulty with my blog commenting system when signing up, so I want to try to make this a bit easier/more accessible for everyone.  You can check in in one of three ways:

  • Via Auto-link
  • Via comments (make sure you include your blog address!)
  • Via email – to measiwitch(at)gmail.com, only if the comments are not working.  Again- make sure you include your blog address!

    Regarding the autolinky thing … since I switched to Mozilla Firefox from Internet Explorer, I haven’t had any problems with it.

    So glad to hear we are continuing in 2013!! This site really keeps me blogging and posting. I just realised that I seem to be getting messages to post on both my emails, hope that doesn’t confuse things, I have only one blog!!

    I can’t believe there are only 2 months left … and I have not even completed half of mine. I am therefore very glad that you are planning to continue onto next year. Keep telling myself I will be better in future. But as you say it is all for fun and the only one punishing me is me. Thanks for doing this SAL … it has been lots of fun so far!
