March 2013 WIPocalypse Check-in

Through the magic of WordPress post scheduling… I’m writing from a month in the past. *waggles fingers* Amazing, isn’t it? (yeah, I know… not really). By the time this check-in posts, I’m hoping that Max will be born and that I won’t be in that final month of pregnancy waddle/pain/awkwardness. My due date is (was) March 25th, so hopefully I’m home with my son in my arms… but we shall see, won’t we?

In any case, happy spring (or autumn, if you’re on the opposite side of the equator) everyone! I know I’m definitely looking forward to being able to push open the windows again and get some fresh air in the house once again. Those first few weeks of spring are always fun for me as I peek in every flowerbed for the first signs of spring blooms. They always seem to take so long to get going, and then we’ll get a couple of very warm days and BOOM! The world explodes into color. Love it.

Keep plugging away on your projects, regardless of how much or little time you have. Remember that every stitch helps you get toward your completion goal.

Happy stitching everyone!

– Mel.

Important SAL Announcements…

Next month’s posting date:  April 25

Themes for the upcoming month:  If you’re looking for a way to decide what to work on, and want to play along with a theme idea, maybe try one (or more!) of the following:

Designer – Mirabilia

Project Theme/Style – Samplers

Focus Colors – Blue and Orange

Please remember that this stitch-a-long is intended to be fun – so if you’re too busy to post, too busy/ill/etc. to stitch – no worries.  Post when you can and share what you have going, even if you’ve only been able to toss a single stitch into it.  If you miss a few months, not a problem – just jump back in when you’re back with us!  It’s not a race or a competition – we’re all just here to cheer each other on with our progress.  🙂

Due to different browsing software, some bloggers have found it difficult to check-in with their posts.  There are three different ways to check in:

  • Via Auto-link
  • Via comments (make sure you include your blog address!)
  • Via email – to measiwitch(at), only if the other two options are not working.  Again- make sure you include your blog address!  I’ll add it to the auto-link myself as I have a free moment.
