I had to check my calendar a couple of times before I believed it was that time again. Honestly thought that I’d made a mistake – and then I got off the train this evening to a gloriously huge full moon hanging heavy over Providence. Nope – I was accurate on the calendar! It’s WIPocalypse check-in time again!
I’m going to post my updates on Friday so I can finish the work on my current piece. It’s International Hermit and Stitch weekend, plus my local stitching group’s get-together on Saturday morning. 🙂 Hopefully the next month will be a bit more productive than my last. Between work and keeping up with a much more active (and now mobile) Max, my commutes to and from work have been spent just letting my brain be completely silent. I guess my body is just telling me what I need. Stitching will come again when it’s meant to!
Hopefully you’re having better luck on your projects. How did you do this month?
Important SAL Announcements…
Next month’s posting date: October 18th
Themes for the upcoming month: If you’re looking for a way to decide what to work on, and want to play along with a theme idea, maybe try one (or more!) of the following:
Designer – Ink Circles
Project Theme/Style –Autumn
Focus Colors – Black and Orange.
Please remember that this stitch-a-long is intended to be fun – so if you’re too busy to post, too busy/ill/etc. to stitch – no worries. Post when you can and share what you have going, even if you’ve only been able to toss a single stitch into it. If you miss a few months, not a problem – just jump back in when you’re back with us! It’s not a race or a competition – we’re all just here to cheer each other on with our progress.
Due to different browsing software, some bloggers have found it difficult to check-in with their posts. There are three different ways to check in:
•Via comments (make sure you include your blog address!)
•Via email – to measiwitch(at)gmail.com, only if the other two options are not working. Again- make sure you include your blog address! I’ll add it to the auto-link myself as I have a free moment.
