How did January go for all of you? I’ve been productive on this end, but not on the projects I was expecting. I was commissioned to do a piece for a friend (with a deadline of March 1st), and I’ve been doing some mad stitching to try to get it done on time. My husband and I have also been dealing with this joyous (*cough*) winter weather in the eastern U.S., and some other issues that have stressed our time a little bit. So all of those plans for 2014? A bit delayed.
If you’re in the same boat, don’t feel bad. Jump in with us whenever you have time, jump out of the boat when life’s responsibilities and obligations require you to. And you’re just stopping by this page for the first time and have no idea what I’m talking about, swing by the basic info and signup page to learn more. 🙂
This month’s discussion topic revolves around how each of us stitches: How many projects do you generally feel comfortable having in progress at a time? Tell us about your one-at-a-time or rotation habits!
I confess I’m really looking forward to this topic and learning how others organize and manage their projects… because I’m always on the hunt for ways to improve mine. It must be the administrative assistant in me – I need efficiency! Even in my stitching! (*cracks whip*)
So until next month, may you needles continue to smoke – and may you make the progress you’re hoping for!
Important SAL Announcements…
Next month’s posting date: March 16th.
Topic for next month: Show us your favorite places to stitch. (oh yes… photos, please!!)
Please remember that this stitch-a-long is intended to be fun – so if you’re too busy to post, too busy/ill/etc. to stitch – no worries. Post when you can and share what you have going, even if you’ve only been able to toss a single stitch into it. If you miss a few months, not a problem – just jump back in when you’re back with us! It’s not a race or a competition – we’re all just here to cheer each other on with our progress.
Due to different browsing software, some bloggers have found it difficult to check-in with their posts. There are three different ways to check in:
- Via Auto-link
- Via comments (make sure you include your blog address!)
- Via email – to measiwitch(at)gmail.com, only if the other two options are not working. Again- make sure you include your blog address! I’ll add it to the auto-link myself when I have a free moment.
