March WIPocalypse Check-in!

wipocalypse2014Hello everyone!

Hope the year so far is going well for you, both stitching-wise and generally.  If you follow my blog, you’ll notice I’ve been just a bit quiet since the last check-in.  All is well here – I was just insanely busy on a commissioned stitching piece that I completely underestimated in time requirements in February.  Once it was finished, it was time to start focusing on celebrating my son’s 1st birthday, complete with three grandparents visiting.  🙂  So it’s been a crazy month.  I’d hoped to get my own WIPocalypse post up for February, but never got around to it… so I’ll just have a lot more to talk about for March!

Due to the chaos in the past month, I’m going to push the originally planned giveaway back by one month, so I’ll announce it with the April check-in.  I just haven’t had a chance to gather materials yet, so it’s not fair to post about stuff I don’t even have in my possession at this moment!

Looking forward to seeing your updates for this month!  🙂

This month’s discussion topic involves where we like to stitch: Show us your favorite places to stitch.  If you have multiples, feel free to share the various places you go.  🙂

Until next month…

Happy stitching,
Melissa (Measi)

Important SAL Announcements…

Next month’s posting date: April 15th

Topic for next month: How do you keep your stash organized?

Please remember that this stitch-a-long is intended to be fun – so if you’re too busy to post, too busy/ill/etc. to stitch – no worries. Post when you can and share what you have going, even if you’ve only been able to toss a single stitch into it. If you miss a few months, not a problem – just jump back in when you’re back with us! It’s not a race or a competition – we’re all just here to cheer each other on with our progress.

Due to different browsing software, some bloggers have found it difficult to check-in with their posts. There are three different ways to check in:

  • Via Auto-link
  • Via comments (make sure you include your blog address!)
  • Via email – to measiwitch(at)gmail.com, only if the other two options are not working. Again- make sure you include your blog address! I’ll add it to the auto-link myself when I have a free moment.

Left my link earlier but couldn’t comment so I’m trying again!

Real life does have a habit of getting in the way of our stitching life, hope this month sees more progress.
