August WIPocalypse Check-in!

wipocalypse2014Happy Full Moon everyone!

Today’s a special day here in the Krueger household… my dear husband, Erich celebrates his 40th birthday today (he’s over there… whimpering in the corner.  I’m sure you can hear him!)  I have a few months to go until I turn 40, so I’m taking full advantage of teasing him this weekend. 🙂  We had a relaxing visit with his side of the family yesterday for dinner, in which Max entertained everyone by being Chaos Toddler Extraordinaire (thankfully in a good way for the most part).  Today we’ll be having a BBQ at our house with friends.  The weather forecast is perfect.  I hope everyone will have a great time.

Thankfully things have been much quieter here in recent weeks, and I am feeling a bit more like myself again.  I’m getting a little more productive, both in stitching and in the catching up on the house front.  It would be nice to have a few more hours in the day (wouldn’t we all love that?)  Of course, I’d likely fill them with sleep at this point… and I don’t think that would be a bad thing!

I hope that you’ve had a productive August so far… looking forward to seeing your posts!

This month’s topic is: Tell us about your oldest and newest WIPs.

Until next month, keep those needles flying!

Happy stitching,

Important SAL Announcements…

Next month’s posting date: September 9th.

Topic for next month:  Who is your favourite person to stitch for, or do you prefer to keep your stitching yourself?

Please remember that this stitch-a-long is intended to be fun – so if you’re too busy to post, too busy/ill/etc. to stitch – no worries. Post when you can and share what you have going, even if you’ve only been able to toss a single stitch into it. If you miss a few months, not a problem – just jump back in when you’re back with us! It’s not a race or a competition – we’re all just here to cheer each other on with our progress.

Due to different browsing software, some bloggers have found it difficult to check-in with their posts. There are three different ways to check in:

  • Via Auto-link
  • Via comments (make sure you include your blog address!)
  • Via email – to measiwitch(at), only if the other two options are not working. Again- make sure you include your blog address! I’ll add it to the auto-link myself when I have a free moment.
