I finished my Arisia musings a few minutes ago… they’re here if anyone wants to read them.
I’m glad to have the day off of work. Erich’s working a half-day today and left about 20 minutes ago to drive into the city. I was waiting for a UPS package to arrive for him this morning. It just did– early, thankfully. Now that that’s over, I’m going to head over to the laundromat down the street and attack the piles of laundry we have in the apartment. Ahhhhh!
Hopefully he’ll be up for grabbing dinner tonight. I let him know I was in the mood to go to Chili’s or get a steak somewhere. Since I didn’t spend all of my money at Arisia, I have the money to spare for a couple dinners out.

I put up my recap of Friday evening’s activities at Arisia here.
Tomorrow, since I have the day off (yaaaa!) I’ll put up the ones for Saturday and Sunday.
For now, though, I’m off to try to wrestle Erich’s laptop away from him and see if I can play Tropico for a while.

Well, I’m home from Arisia. Still exhausted despite spending the better part of the afternoon curled up in bed. I had a great weekend, but I need to work on my abilities to do late nighters again– I feel so OLD!
I decided to open up a livejournal, even though I’ll still be using my regular journal frequently. I plan on using this one for random scribblings, quick little vents… that kind of thing. I might occasionally copy some of my journal entries over, too. I’m not sure yet.
Part of the reason I opened it up is because I went to a panel at Arisia that discussed livejournal and other blogs, and it seems EVERYONE is on here. Even though I love Diary-X and think it’s the best service out there, I have come to realize that with the large presence of Arisia-goers over here, it probably would be a good idea to be on the forum that they’re using as well. Particularly since I HATE having to sign livejournal guestbooks remembering to sign my name at the end of the entry.
It would be nice to meet a few new people and make some more contacts for next year. I love hanging out with Erich, but it would be fun to know a bunch of other people, too, that I can say hi to and chat with while at the con.
*sigh* I need more caffeine.
