I honestly don’t care if people are against abortion. The cliche of “then don’t have one” is true. They have no right to dictate what another woman does with her body. However, as a woman who’s personally MADE THIS CHOICE, I am infuriated with the “pro-life” (which actually is just anti-choice.. let’s be truthful here) mindset, particularly the people who are celebrating this doctor’s death.
Want to fight abortion? Get involved in promoting safe sex, birth-control, and start promoting less bureaucratic ways for women to get prenatal health care if they’re supposedly going to give these children up for adoption (the “pro-life” ideal).
I’m an adoptee, too, by the way. And I still firmly support the right to abortion access.

Unanimous decision to uphold the ruling that the state ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional.
And better yet, the ruling is written brilliantly, negating the argument that is a religious (only) intitution:
“Civil marriage in Iowa is the only gateway to an extensive legal structure that protects a married couple’s relationship and family in and outside the state,” Hanson ruled in Des Moines. “Iowa reserves an unparalleled array of rights, obligations and benefits to married couples and their families, privileging married couples as a financial and legal unit and stigmatizing same-sex couples.”
Complete ruling is here:
