I honestly don’t care if people are against abortion. The cliche of “then don’t have one” is true. They have no right to dictate what another woman does with her body. However, as a woman who’s personally MADE THIS CHOICE, I am infuriated with the “pro-life” (which actually is just anti-choice.. let’s be truthful here) mindset, particularly the people who are celebrating this doctor’s death.
Want to fight abortion? Get involved in promoting safe sex, birth-control, and start promoting less bureaucratic ways for women to get prenatal health care if they’re supposedly going to give these children up for adoption (the “pro-life” ideal).
I’m an adoptee, too, by the way. And I still firmly support the right to abortion access.
