June WIPocalypse Check-In
Hi everyone!

The year is half-over, and I’ve been having a productive stitchy year, yet I don’t seem to have the finishes that would suggest how good it has been. I suppose that is just the curse of a large project stitcher! So many pretties to stitch on, but all of them are a long journey. They’ll get done eventually, right?
If you are looking for a cozy spot to stitch over the next few weeks, I’d suggest taking a look at Lindy Stitches’ Midsummer Stitch happening over the weekend of July 19-20th. It’s a virtual retreat, so you can hang out in your PJs at home, relax, and just pop into chat rooms at your own pace. It’s so reasonably priced that even if you can only hang out for a couple hours, it pays for itself. Cheaper than going to see a movie at the theater these days! I’m planning on being around there for a good chunk of the weekend, and would love to chat with a few other stitchers!
I hope your July is an enjoyable one, whether you’ll be enjoying some time away from home or just hanging locally as I will be doing. Have a lovely July, and I’ll see you at the end of the month!
Best,
Melissa

Next posting date: July 27 2025
Topic(s) for next time: What are the fully finished pieces (framed or other finish style) that you are most satisfied that you have done? (question thanks to Martha D)

Please remember that this stitch-a-long is intended to be fun – so if you’re too busy to post, too busy/ill/etc. to stitch – no worries! Post when you can and share what you have going, even if you’ve only been able to toss a single stitch into it. If you miss a few months, not a problem – just jump back in when you’re back with us! It’s not a race or a competition – we’re all just here to cheer each other on with our progress.
